According to the different working principles of the motor, we mainly produce two different motors. One is carbon brush motor. The other is induction motor.

1 At present, 85% of the high pressure washers on the market use carbon brush motors. Because the price is more cheaper. Induction motor products, quality and performance will be better than carbon brush motor products, the price is relatively higher.

Comparison between Induction Motor and Carbon Brush Motor

1 Service life: The service life of induction motors is usually 2-3 times that of carbon brush motors. Induction motors can be used continuously for 200-300 hours, and can resume normal operation for about 100 hours after replacing wearing parts. The service life of the carbon brush motors generally does not exceed 96 hours. If the carbon brushes are worn out or the commutator is burned, they are mostly used for one-time use. If it breaks, need to buy a new one.

2 Noise decibels: Usually the induction motor is between 75-85 decibels, while the carbon brush motor is between 95-105 decibels. The noise is loud and harsh. Our products have been redesigned from the product structure, and the decibels are between 80-90 decibels.

3 Failure rate: The failure rate of induction motors is very low (within 5%), and the failure rate of carbon brush motors is relatively high (within 10-15%)

4 Manufacturing cost: Mainly because the manufacturing cost of induction motor is 1.5 times higher than that of carbon brush motor.
